Simplicity 2846

I made this dress out of Amy Butler fabric from her Midwest Modern collection.  The sash is made from yellow canvas from IKEA.  I didn’t make any major alterations to the pattern.  Just shortened the hem a couple inches (per usual) and messed with sizing (which still is not perfect).  I also had tons of trouble with the neck facing since this was my first time doing one.  For details, see my review on Pattern Review.

I love the fabric in this dress – the colour and design. I think it was a good choice for the style you’ve used. The sash looks great with it too.
