Green Rib Knit Hat

I started this hat a couple years ago without a pattern and didn’t pick it back up again until last week. I’m so glad to have one of my many knitting projects actually finished! That band around the top was actually a mistake (I reversed my stitches accidentally) but I kind of like the look of it. I’m very proud of this hat 🙂 It actually turned out a good size, and it’s wearable! I’ve made some in the past that were not so much… haha.  I didn’t use circular needles, so there is a seam in the back, but it’s really not that bad at all.

I used regular old Red Heart yarn but it’s really soft because of the ribbing 🙂  I’m amazed that I actually finished, because it’s a lot of work switching back and forth every stitch.  I got matching cashmere gloves for myself last Christmas to match this hat I was planning to finish, so I’m glad I finally did!
